“the Unsung World of Classic Restoration”

Ok I’ll lay my cards on the table here. I have skin in this game!

The YVONNE project has been an integral part of the life of some of my closest friends for seven years now. So when we heard that the seminal British publication “Classic Boat” had selected her to be on the short list of best “Restored Sailing Vessel under 40ft” then it is cause for celebration. And then I thought that perhaps with a small effort, we could make her the winner as the selection is done by popular vote.

How good would it be if a low budget, community based, mostly amateur, (with the exception of the very professional Ferdi Darley!) historically important, and brilliantly executed restoration from Williamstown, Australia, won this coveted award? It would of course be a pat on the back to the syndicate, but more importantly it would show that a group of dedicated Australians can match it with any lavishly funded projects from Europe and around the world. So we have a request of you! Vote for YVONNE by clicking HERE. Its a simple process that will take 30 seconds! And then share the link with all the sailing friends as you can think of!
